Since 2018, Laura has supported Ann Arbor SPARK’s strategic mission by promoting the region as a hub of innovation, a leader in R&D, and a highly desirable place to live and work. In 2023, she joined the leadership team to strengthen key external alliances by cultivating private-sector support.
Her passion for southeast Michigan helps build new partnerships and elevate SPARK’s visibility and impact. Prior to joining SPARK, Laura worked at Destination Ann Arbor, helping create economic growth through the promotion of Washtenaw County as a destination for day and overnight visitors. Laura spent the early years of her career working in the tech sector, first with multiple Ann Arbor software startups and then at the Detroit-based HelloWorld. Additionally, Laura serves as treasurer on the Hero Nation board of directors.
