2018 marked a significant number of economic development projects for the Ann Arbor region, including the noteworthy announcement that KLA-Tencor — a Silicon Valley-headquartered provider of process control solutions for semiconductor and related industries — selected Ann Arbor as the home for a new R&D facility.
