Ann Arbor SPARK’s Entrepreneurial Boot Camp Celebration took place on Wednesday, with Agita Labs taking Best of Boot Camp, a $25,000 prize. Agita Labs is a new startup in Ann Arbor that is developing next-generation privacy-enhanced computing architectures that will facilitate the creation of new data markets while protecting data IP rights and respecting personal information.

We know of two U-M students that found internships as a result of the Center for Entrepreneurship Student Discovery Trek hosted at Ann Arbor SPARK and other startups around town. “Ann Arbor continues to rank as one of the best college towns in the U.S. and was recently identified by Bloomberg as a top new tech hub,” said Jenn Queen, vice president of marketing and communications at Ann Arbor SPARK. “Our goal is to encourage more graduates to remain in Ann Arbor by showcasing the high-growth career opportunities available here.”
