SiTime Expands Global Presence with New Center of Excellence in Michigan

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 17, 2018 – SiTime Corporation, the market leader in MEMS timing, announced it has expanded its global footprint to support its rapid growth with the opening of a new Center of Excellence in Michigan.

By combining unique MEMS and analog technology with a fabless semiconductor model and significant knowhow, SiTime has transformed the timing industry over the past decade. Today, SiTime sets the benchmark in performance, reliability, size, and flexibility, and is the preferred timing supplier for high-performance electronics. SiTime has cumulatively shipped 1 billion units since 2005 and has 90% share of the MEMS timing market. In Michigan, to assist with office space location, new talent acquisition, and business support services, SiTime collaborated with Ann Arbor SPARK, a non-profit economic development organization.
