Mobility Industry Leaders Gather at Ann Arbor SPARK a2tech360 Mobility Summit

Komal Doshi speaking at the 2021 Ann Arbor Mobility Summit.

Mobility visionaries and leaders from public, private, nonprofit, and academic spheres will come together for the fifth annual Ann Arbor Mobility Summit on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, as part of Ann Arbor SPARK’s annual a2tech360. Over the course of the summit, speakers and participants will share, learn, inspire, and advance mobility in Michigan and around the globe.

This year, the summit’s focus will be on key trends surrounding electric mobility, Vision Zero, workforce, equity and data, and more. Experts in these fields, like Oliver Wyman partner Alan Wilkinson and SPARK’s own Mobility Specialist Alison Petersen, will share findings from reports and studies, while panels will bring together innovators from diverse sectors to share how they are pushing the boundaries of technological prowess, partnerships, and policies to improve sustainability, safety, and equity in our mobility ecosystems.

“The mobility ecosystem is flourishing here in Ann Arbor,” said Komal Doshi, director of mobility programs at Ann Arbor SPARK. “Our proximity to both the auto industry and top research universities like the University of Michigan, alongside our thriving community of technology startups, makes us an ideal location for mobility research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.”

The Mobility Summit is from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 11 at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel on Boardwalk Dr. and features more than 25 thought leaders from the public, private, and academic sectors around the country. This event is presented by Ann Arbor SPARK and sponsored by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Register and view the full agenda.
