For the first time, FedEx is running a nationwide small business grant competition that will award $50,000 to six winners. The first place winner will receive a grand prize of $25,000 to invest in their business.
Small businesses (less than 100 employees) may enter online at http://fedex.com/grant contest. Share your story and a company photo with FedEx, explaining why your business deserves the grant and how it would be invested.
Once submitted, your entry will create a Facebook page, allowing your friends to vote for your entry. You may vote every day at Facebook.com/fedex until Nov. 24. Winners will be chosen from the top 100 companies, based on the submitted story and number of votes collected by your business.
