Ann Arbor SPARK Hosts In-Person and Virtual Tech Homecoming Events to Connect Job Seekers and Employers

Ann Arbor SPARK’s annual Tech Homecoming event is being offered this year as an in-person and a virtual job fair. Tech Homecoming, a free, annual event that connects growing companies and job seekers, will be held in-person this year on Wednesday, November 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cahoots in downtown Ann Arbor. Virtual Tech Homecoming will be held online on Wednesday, December 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. Registration is required to attend both events.

“It’s exciting to be able to offer job seekers two different opportunities to connect with hiring companies,” said Jenn Cornell Queen, Ann Arbor SPARK senior vice president, marketing, communications, and events. “Ultimately, hosting two Tech Homecoming events allows us to extend our reach to job seekers outside of this area and offer a deeper talent pool from which employers can fill their staffing needs. Another perk is those who attend the in-person event will have an opportunity to follow up with the participating companies and have additional conversations and have initial conversations with employers they might have missed at the first Tech Homecoming event this year.”

Participating Tech Homecoming companies are:

  • AdAdapted
  • Amy Cell Talent
  • Deepgram
  • Eastern Michigan University’s Digital Summer Clinic
  • Ford Motor Company
  • Groundspeed Analytics
  • InfoReady
  • IOSiX
  • KLA
  • May Mobility
  • Mcity
  • Networks Group
  • Perrone Robotics
  • RXA
  • Shoptelligence
  • Stout Systems
  • University of Michigan Credit Union
  • Workit Health

This year’s Tech Homecoming is being offered as part of Back to Michigan, a nine-region effort to attract attention to careers available across the state. Back to Michigan, held November 10 through December 8, aims to connect people interested in relocating to Michigan, and current residents who are unemployed, directly with hiring employers.

Capacity for the in-person Tech Homecoming is limited and proof of COVID vaccination is required to attend.
