Venue Connect is a sponsored happy hour mixer that includes an open bar, networking opportunities, and speaker series. Our inaugural event welcomes presenter Anna Michele Bulszewicz of Anna Michele Communications with her presentation on emotional intelligence, “Mindfully Speaking.” Attendees can expect to connect with other professionals, enjoy drinks, and learn from the presentation and Q&A session.

After nearly 20 years in corporate industry and academia, Anna combines her professional experiences and academic work, to implement mindful communication practices that increase emotional quotient, or EI, and generate successful business communities.
The Presentation
It is no longer reasonable or appropriate to identify everyday communication skills or “people skills” as “soft”. In a post-pandemic world, leaders, managers, and teammates must trailblaze with empathy and strong emotional quotient or lose out. This work begins with mindful communication.
