New Enterprise Forum is excited to announce that registration is now open for our monthly NEF forum meeting happening on Thursday, May 16, at Ann Arbor SPARK. The event will kick off at 5:00 p.m. with food, drink and networking, with the main event starting at 5:45 p.m..
It will begin with a short presentation by Claudia Rast from our featured stakeholder partner this month, Butzel, which is celebrating its 170th anniversary this year of providing legal counsel to businesses and playing a prominent role in the development and growth of several major industries.
Then, we will have a showcase investor presentation from Tim Moore, Founder and CEO of Clixie AI, after his completion of the NEF coaching process. Clixie AI is providing next-level video engagement to transform ordinary audio and video files into interactive learning experiences for learning and development, leading to better and measurable outcomes. Entrepreneurship indeed runs in the Moore family, as Tim’s father, Larry Moore, was our NEF Entrepreneur of the Year in 1990!
After that, NEF is very proud to host a special educational event entitled “Current Trends in Financing,” presented by Terrence J.L. Reeves, JD, MBA, Attorney and Advisor at GwC. This will be an interactive presentation designed to provide founders, investors and ecosystem partners with the foundational knowledge of key terms and concepts found in financings. Terrence will also share insights on current trends and market terms. Time will be left for questions and answers.
