Ann Arbor SPARK and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) launched the Michigan STEM Forward internship program in 2021. The program matches students attending Michigan colleges and universities with internship opportunities at the state’s leading innovative companies. To date, over 550 interns have been placed.
The support and feedback of our partner organizations across the state has been central to the success the program has had so far. Based on this feedback, we are proud to introduce a brand-new student resume database that will further streamline the matchmaking process for both companies and students.
Specific topics to be addressed include:
- Updates on the program process to date
- Changes to the company application workflow
- Changes made to the intern application workflow
- Solutions to frequently asked questions/concerns
