Centrepolis and the C3 Accelerator recently launched the Industrial Decarbonization Challenge which aims to bring more attention to this area. This challenge is sponsored by Whirlpool Corporation, Gerdau, The National Renewable Energy Lab, Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, and Breakthrough Energy. Technology companies that demonstrate and test cutting-edge industrial decarbonization technologies in real-world settings have the opportunity to be awarded funding up to $250,000.
