Regional Small Business Loans and Grants

Federal CARES Act

We encourage small businesses to access resources available through the Small Business Administration. (SBA) COVID-19. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress is intended to provide business owners with resources needed right now during the COVID-19 crisis. These include an array of resources to assist small businesses, non-profits, and other employers. This $2 trillion economic relief package includes $377 billion for small businesses and contains various economic aid programs.

Tech Stabilization Fund

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced the creation of a $3 million Tech Startup Stabilization Fund to help stabilize early-stage tech startups in Michigan that are being impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Learn More

  • Donate to the United Way of Washtenaw County COVID-19 Relief Fund
  • A2 Helps is a new service connecting community donations to local businesses that can provide food and other resources to healthcare workers.
  • A2 Neighbors: Donations go toward purchasing meals from area restaurants for frontline healthcare workers at Michigan Medicine, the VA Ann Arbor, and Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital.
