RoadPitch is a multi-city pitch tour for black pre-seed tech founders. From October 9th-14th, we will be traveling from Ann Arbor to Chicago to pitch to investors in those markets who align with your industry.
18 Pitch Demos in 6 Days. Each day, we will host two pitch demos for the six selected RoadPitch startups to demo for accredited investors and corporate venture arms. During the third and final pitch of the day – you’ll be pitching alongside startups local to that city.
This application is for both the six RoadPitch startups that will be on the road with us AND the local black tech startups in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Chicago, competing in the evening event.
Traveling Founders must belong to one of the following industries:
- Insurtech
- CleanTech,
- Mobility/Transportation
- Life Science
- FoodTech.
RoadPitch Startup Criteria:
- Startups must be 51% owned by someone who identifies themselves as black.
- Startups must have participated in an incubator or accelerator. (Traveling Founders only)
- Startups must be at the pre-seed or seed stage of funding and raised less than $2M to date from external sources. (Traveling Founders only)
- Startups must be based OUTSIDE of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Illinois (Traveling Founders only)
