Didem Karaboga serves as Director of Finance at Ann Arbor SPARK, where she leads the finance and accounting functions for the organization and its affiliates. In this role, she is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, audit oversight, grant compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
With more than 30 years of finance experience across the U.S. and internationally, Didem brings deep experience in financial leadership and organizational growth. For more than two decades, she played a key role in establishing and developing multinational subsidiaries from the ground up while leading their finance and administrative functions. Throughout her career, she has held senior finance leadership positions with global organizations including Dow Chemical, Boston Scientific, Fresenius Medical Care, and QIAGEN. Her experience spans financial strategy and forecasting, subsidiary establishment, due diligence and feasibility analysis, ERP implementation, audit and regulatory compliance, internal controls, and cross-functional leadership.
Didem earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Middle East Technical University (METU), one of Türkiye’s leading universities, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Türkiye.
