Pinckney High School’s (PHS) Robotics Program continues to train high school students for post secondary success. The program focuses on engineering and mechatronics, which is a multidisciplinary field of engineering that combines mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, control engineering and computer engineering.
The goal of PHS’ Robotics Program is to teach students firsthand what they can do with a technical degree. PHS accomplishes this by partnering with local businesses, such as Hatch Stamping Company, Toyoda Gosei, Promess, and many more, to mentor students on their projects. PHS also partners with Michigan colleges and universities to encourage students to earn technical and engineering degrees.
