On August 27 and 28, the seventh Australian Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Summit in Melbourne will host the world’s leading industry executives from the transport technology sector. The largest Australian ITS event of the year, the two-day summit will feature a wealth of expertise from industry, government, and academia with more than 500 attendees. In addition to a series of lively and meaningful discussions on future transport opportunities, there will be various networking functions, technical tours, and intriguing exhibitors.
Paul Krutko, Ann Arbor SPARK president and CEO, is participating in the summit as a distinguished speaker. With nearly four decades of economic experience and expertise, he will be representing the state of Michigan as a senior official on behalf of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). He will be presenting his thoughts on Southeast Michigan as a global center for the validation and commercialization of connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) technology and mobility as a service (MaaS) at the summit, as well as sharing his knowledge on the role that advanced mobility technology has in driving economic development, specifically during a follow-on Australia-Michigan meeting.
