Michigan House is the Great Lake State’s experiential embassy to SXSW. This year, we have a new location at The Refinery — just a few blocks away from the convention center.

Friday, March 8 | SXSW Startup Crawl at Michigan House
During this tour of Austin’s startup community, Michigan House is adding some short programming between the networking. Be sure to check out Grow Blue: The Startup Ecosystem in A2 at 6:15 p.m. featuring Ann Arbor SPARK along with our friends from Amesite, Cahoots, Derq, and Groove.id.
Saturday, March 9 | Michigan Mobility Day
Michigan is at the epicenter of mobility innovation, and much of that is happening in the Ann Arbor region. Join us at Michigan House for a full day of programming, and we especially hope you’ll check out the Public/Private Partnerships panel at 5:00 p.m. featuring Paul Krutko, Ann Arbor SPARK president and CEO:
The next ten years are going to require massive efforts of coordination between government and private entities to deliver on the promise of changing mobility technologies. Questions of cost, safety, and access are just a few of the issues that are sure to test those relationships every step along the way. This panel will explore existing examples in Michigan of the type of public/private collaborations that are going to be necessary to create a mobility future that benefits us all.
