Congratulations to the businesses in the greater Ann Arbor region for being awarded grants from the Going PRO Talent Fund. Michigan Works! Southeast has facilitated the acquisition of $1,846,223.75, which will serve to train and develop the workforce in Southeast Michigan.

The Going PRO Talent Fund is dedicated to assisting employers in providing short-term, skill-specific training that addresses immediate talent needs, leading to industry-recognized credentials. Through collaboration with Michigan Works! agencies, businesses have navigated the application process successfully, demonstrating their commitment to workforce development.

The eligibility for this program spans permanent, full-time employees who are 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Training programs sanctioned by the fund include both classroom and on-the-job training, as well as apprenticeships, with financial caps per participant to ensure broad accessibility.

Employers receiving these grants have made significant contributions, either through direct financial support or in-kind services, to ensure the training’s success.
