The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company is a screen print and embroidery shop producing about two million garments per year out of its Maple Road factory. Employing 100 Ann Arbor area residents, the organization fosters a culture of action and encourages employees at all levels to improve the process.
As a two-time FastTrack Award winner, the Ann Arbor T-shirt Company values the ability to benchmark its success year-over-year along with other up-and-coming companies in the area. “We’re big boosters for Ann Arbor in general, so it’s always neat to see how other businesses are doing around town.”
In April 2020, the Ann Arbor T-shirt Company heard about the efforts of another local company, Akervall Technologies, to produce face shields and offered to cover production costs and donate 25,000 shields.
