TechTown Detroit and its local partners Ann Arbor SPARK, Macomb County Chamber of Commerce, Metro Detroit Black Business Alliance, Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council, and Michigan Women Forward are proud to host a free Comcast RISE information session on June 13 from noon to 1:00 p.m. with Shannon Dulin, director of community impact for Comcast Heartland Region. The session will highlight more details about the Comcast RISE Investment Fund and how to apply for the $10,000 monetary grant.
Comcast RISE includes:
Monetary Grant: 100 small businesses in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties will be named Comcast RISE recipients and awarded packages that include: business consultation services, educational resources, a monetary grant, creative production, a media schedule, and a technology makeover.
Between June 1 – 30, eligible small businesses in metro Detroit, as well as Baltimore, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Portland will be able to apply for the Comcast RISE program at www.comcastrise.com. A total of 500 grants (100 per city) will be announced in August and awarded in September, bringing the total number of recipients to date to 13,500.
