The Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization (MTRAC) Innovation Hub for Advanced Transportation funds translational research applications to accelerate new high-tech solutions to serve the mobility and advanced transportation industries and is agnostic to the type of transportation (land, sea, air, space, etc.).
The program is open to researchers at all public institutions of higher education, and non-profit research centers in the State of Michigan. Please note that all awarded projects require a cost-share from the investigator/institution.
Funding areas include and are not limited to:
- Electrification
- Connectivity
- Sustainability
- Infrastructure Tech
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Manufacturing Solutions
- Supply Chain Solutions
- Robotics

- Receive up to $100K through a 12-month grant.
- Awarded project teams are supported by industry experts, mentors, and investors.
