Ann Arbor – Michigan’s New Economy

In the last year, Ann Arbor companies have attracted a significant amount of venture capital. From companies like, Arborlight, Duo Security, NeuMoDx Molecula, and, Seelio, investors are taking note of the region’s innovation-based businesses.

 “We often talk about the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem – how the Ann Arbor area of innovation has all of the ingredients necessary to support the growth of high tech companies,” said Paul Krutko, president and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK. “When we see that businesses here are able to attract capital at a rate that outpaces competing regions, the economic benefits of our ecosystem become clear.”
