The annual FastTrack Awards took place on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the University of Michigan Golf Course Clubhouse, bringing together community leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators for an inspiring evening of celebration. The program honored companies that achieved at least 20% average revenue growth over the past three years, starting from a base of $100,000.
Hosted by Ann Arbor SPARK as part of a2Tech360, and made possible through the generous support of sponsors Rehmann and Northstar Bank, the evening began with a lively reception where attendees enjoyed reconnecting with colleagues and friends over food, cocktails, and conversation.
These businesses are more than success stories—they’re the fuel behind our region’s thriving economy, creating jobs, sparking innovation, and strengthening community connections.
A Community of Growth and Innovation
As SPARK President and CEO Paul Krutko emphasized in his remarks, Ann Arbor has achieved a historic milestone, ranking as the fifth most significant innovation ecosystem in the Midwest, positioned just behind Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Pittsburgh. Ann Arbor outperforms in several key measures: #1 in startup density, #2 in number of startups, #2 in startup momentum, and #3 in patents issued. The region also consistently ranks above expectations in capital invested, number of angels, and GDP per capita. Once primarily recognized for its leadership in cybersecurity, Ann Arbor has evolved into a statewide and regional hub for technology and innovation. Together with the University of Michigan as an anchor and a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, Ann Arbor continues to expand its influence as one of the Midwest’s strongest centers of innovation.
That momentum was reflected at the FastTrack Awards, where companies across industries and stages of growth were honored for their sustained impact. Guiding the evening was Chris Sing, Principal at Rehmann, who reprised her role as emcee. With warmth and energy, she set the tone for celebration and highlighted why Rehmann continues to sponsor the program: supporting high-growth businesses not only strengthens individual companies but uplifts the entire community.
