Ann Arbor SPARK, with support from Bank of Ann Arbor, is making this resource available to strengthen the local economy, foster innovation, and support business success throughout the region.

Consulting Services

As part of the Small Business Support Program, SPARK provides no-cost resources and support for small businesses in Livingston, Monroe, and Washtenaw Counties. It helps regional entrepreneurs navigate Michigan’s small business ecosystem and offers direct support to small businesses, whether it’s helping develop a business plan, growing a customer base and industry connections, or hiring and managing employees.

Who is eligible to apply for the Small Business Support Program?

Eligible small businesses include for-profit businesses that are:

  • For new or existing businesses, at least 51% owned and operated by U.S. citizens from minority groups (including Asian Pacific, Hispanic, Hispanic, Asian Indian, Black / African, Native American, Middle East / North African).
