The Ann Arbor Mobility Summit, a hallmark event of the a2Tech360 series, is set to take place at the Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College on Monday, September 23. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts will converge to explore cutting-edge developments in mobility technology. Early bird tickets are available for $125 until August 23, with regular pricing at $150.
The Ann Arbor Mobility Summit promises a day packed with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and forward-thinking presentations. Attendees will kick off the day by networking over breakfast and exploring the Student Project Showcase.
Paul Krutko, President and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK, will open the summit, followed by remarks from Rose Bellanca, President and CEO of Washtenaw Community College, setting the stage for a day focused on innovation and collaboration in mobility.
The keynote address will be delivered by Kathryn Snorrason, Vice President and Associate Chief Mobility Officer at the Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME). Snorrason will highlight Ann Arbor’s leadership in mobility innovation, discussing the transformative potential of autonomous vehicles, electric mobility, and smart infrastructure.
Breakout sessions throughout the day will cover a range of critical topics. Attendees can explore the state of mobility innovation at key test sites and living labs, and delve into discussions about equity in public transportation, addressing barriers such as accessibility, affordability, and geographic disparities. Other sessions will highlight Michigan’s leadership in mobility innovation, the latest advancements in AI technologies within the automotive industry, and the role of colleges and universities in shaping the future of mobility.
The summit will also feature a fireside chat with Alan Amici, President and CEO of the Center for Automotive Research, focusing on the power of collaboration in driving innovation and progress in the automotive and mobility sectors.
