New Enterprise Forum is excited to announce that registration is now open for our monthly NEF forum meeting happening on Thursday, April 18, at Ann Arbor SPARK. The event will kick off at 5:00 p.m. with food, drink and networking, with the main event starting at 5:45 p.m..
It will begin with a short presentation from our featured stakeholder partner this month, Eastern Michigan University Center for Entrepreneurship, given by its Director, Sanjib Chowdhury.
We will then host a NEF pitch pit competition among three early stage startups, giving them an opportunity to tell their story in front of an encouraging audience and receiving constructive counsel from three judges on how they could improve and scale. The participants will be Eric Andrechek from WaveRF; Vanessa Lane, Co-Founder and COO of BetterPlay Studios; and Steven Sherman from Superior Energy. The judges who will be helping these entrepreneurs in their journey will be William Grenawitzke, Managing Director at Bellows Capital Partners; Shobhit Gupta, Senior Associate at GM Ventures; and Katie Hall, Founder and CEO of Claira.
Following that we will have a showcase investor presentation from Raju Patil, CTO of 3R Pallets, following his completion of the rigorous NEF coaching process. 3R Pallets is revolutionizing the shipping industry with sustainable bamboo fiber composite pallets, a greener alternative to wooden and plastic pallets.
