Ann Arbor, Michigan – January 8, 2019 – Nexient, the Agile development firm specialized in 100% US-based software product teams, is ramping its aggressive local hiring this month after surpassing its 2018 Michigan hiring commitments.
Last year, Nexient pledged to create 300 new Michigan jobs by 2020, with the first 60 planned for 2018. But company growth nearly doubled that pace, with over 100 new hires in the first year since receiving a $1.5M performance-based grant from the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF).
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Nexient has chosen to base its primary delivery center in Ann Arbor, supporting hundreds of local jobs in digital product design, development and quality engineering. The company also maintains smaller tech hubs in Lansing and Kokomo, Indiana, as well as consulting teams on client sites across the United States.
Demand is coming primarily from Nexient’s corporate clients outside Michigan, as both tech companies and large enterprises look to scale software product development faster and more responsively to users.
