Rich Perlberg is chair of the Economic Development Council of Livingston County (EDCLC), a key economic development partner of Ann Arbor SPARK. Perlberg was instrumental in creating the partnership, and also championed the creation of the Greater Ann Arbor Region, a multi-county partnership designed to encourage economic growth more broadly across southeast Michigan.
In his discussion with Ann Arbor SPARK’s president and CEO Paul Krutko, Perlberg talks about the genesis of the relationship between SPARK and EDCLC and the results of the partnership to date. He also talks about his long-term vision for driving business growth and job opportunities in Livingston County. Perlberg closes with a look at the factors that have contributed to the county’s population growth, and why it’s a destination for a range of individuals and families.
