In 2018, KLA announced it selected Ann Arbor as the site for its second North American headquarters. While the Fortune 500 electronics company with a semiconductor equipment focus started its search with 350 potential sites, it chose Ann Arbor because of the region’s high quality of life, vibrant cultural scene, and a strong technology ecosystem.
