Ann Arbor SPARK is now accepting self-nominations for Tech Talk 2025, happening during Tech Trek on Friday, October 3rd, from 1 – 5 p.m. This year, we’re transforming Liberty Plaza into a live tech demo zone, giving local innovators the chance to step into the spotlight and show the community what our region’s tech scene is all about.
We’re calling on Washtenaw County-based tech companies, founders, creators, and innovators to apply for a spot on stage. If you’ve got something cool, cutting-edge, or curious to share—this is your chance to demo it live, spark conversations, and inspire the next wave of innovation in our region.
Part of the a2Tech360 series and produced by Ann Arbor SPARK, Tech Talk is a crowd favorite, drawing hundreds of attendees who are curious, engaged, and eager to see what’s next in tech. Think of it as a live show-and-tell—fast-paced, visually engaging, and totally public-friendly.
Tech Talk takes place in the heart of Tech Trek, a high-energy, street-fair-style celebration that attracts more than 1,000 attendees, features over 60 local companies, and includes food vendors curated by WCC’s Entrepreneurship Center. It’s a vibrant afternoon of discovery—and your demo could be one of the highlights.
We’ll select nearly a dozen presenters to take the stage for 10-minute talks—just enough time to demo a product, showcase a breakthrough, or take us behind the scenes of your latest tech adventure. Whether you’re early-stage or well-established, if your work sparks curiosity, this is the place to share it.
