Ann Arbor SPARK, a catalyst for economic development in Southeast Michigan, announces a $150,000 investment in Insight Voice, Inc. This investment is part of Insight Voice’s $500,000 pre-seed funding round aimed at enhancing its innovative content marketing automation platform. This marks the third investment facilitated by the Michigan Innovation Capital Fund (MICF), which has allocated $5 million to SPARK over a 2.5-year period to boost tech-focused startups across Michigan.
Founded in 2023 and based in Grand Rapids, Insight Voice, Inc. has developed a proprietary software service that streamlines content marketing for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). By leveraging advanced language models, the platform enables business owners to easily create tailored content across various digital channels, enhancing their market presence and customer engagement without the usual time-intensive processes involved.
Mike Flanagan, vice president of Capital Programs at Ann Arbor SPARK, commented on the investment, stating, “Our commitment extends beyond the Ann Arbor region as we aim to strengthen the entire Michigan ecosystem. Investing in companies like Insight Voice supports this vision, making Michigan a competitive landscape for tech innovations and economic growth.”
Matthew Curtis, CEO of Insight Voice and a seasoned entrepreneur, highlighted the integration of AI in marketing, said “Artificial intelligence is transforming how we approach digital marketing. Our platform not only simplifies content creation but does so by capturing the unique voice and insight of each business owner, making content marketing both personal and powerful.”
Insight Voice plans to use the funds to continue the development of its platform and to accelerate its market entry strategy, with the ultimate goal of becoming a central resource for SMB marketing efforts.
As part of the broader initiative supported by the Michigan Innovation Capital Fund, SPARK is actively promoting technological advancement and economic expansion beyond the Ann Arbor area, fostering a robust environment for startups and innovation across the state.
