Business leaders, owners, and managers are invited to join SPARK and the Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovation on Thursday, October 16 from 8:30 – 10:30 am for an introduction into commercial preparedness. Attendees will become familiar with how climate change is affecting Ann Arbor, the basics of how to prepare your business for common climate events, and pathways to pursue deeper preparedness.
Participants will receive free emergency kits for their businesses, information on how to stay informed of emergencies, and guidance on how to take additional action to prevent disasters from becoming catastrophes.
This event’s capacity is limited, and participants must register here by October 14.
