Bob Young is group vice president of purchasing, supplier engineering development, and cost planning at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. (TEMA). He is responsible for overseeing all vehicle parts and materials procurement and cost planning for TEMA. Mr. Young is located at Toyota Technical Center in York Township, Michigan.
During his conversation with Paul Krutko, president and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK, Bob talks about Toyota’s local R&D facility, and it’s focus, responsibility, and operations. Bob also touches on the benefits of having the new Willow Run facility in their backyard.
