CEO Podcast: Sava Lelcaj

In 2007, Sava Lelcaj was only 23 when she opened her namesake restaurant, Sava’s, in Ann Arbor. The humble café grew from a small, 23-seat diner to a 350-seat Ann Arbor mainstay. Since then, as part of Savco Hospitality group, she’s opened several other successful and unique Ann Arbor establishments including babo Market, Aventura Spanish tapas restaurant, Tavolina Catering and Events, and a 9,000 square foot test kitchen.

During her conversation with Paul Krutko, president and CEO of Ann Arbor SPARK, Sava tells a very inspiring story of how her upbringing, love of food, and ability to see opportunities and adapt enabled her to create the successful business she has today.
