The Michigan Ross School of Business Career Development Office is pleased to invite you to the annual Sales and Business Development Career Fair, scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
With over 300 students enrolled in our Sales and Business Development program, this event is a cornerstone of their professional development. These students, required to attend as part of their curriculum, are eager to connect with companies offering internships and full-time roles in marketing, sales, business development, account management, and customer success.
About the Sales & Business Development Program (Cappo Sales & Marketing Program)
- Enrollment: 300 students for the 2024/2025 academic year, evenly split between juniors and seniors.
- Career Focus: All types of roles with a strong focus in business-to-business sales, which offers higher initial compensation and long-term career growth compared to business-to-consumer sales.
- Compensation: Starting salaries typically range from $80K to $90K, with potential earnings of $250K to $400K after three years for business-to-business sales representatives.
- Preferred Company Attributes: Companies with robust growth prospects and those that invest in ongoing personal training and development.
- 2022-2023 Career Outcomes: 40% in sales, 20% in marketing, 10% in consulting, and 30% in other roles.
