New Enterprise Forum, along with our featured stakeholder partner Michigan Small Business Development Center, is excited to announce our upcoming NEF Forum Meeting on Thursday, January 19. The live portion kicks off at 5:00 p.m. at Ann Arbor SPARK with food, drink and networking. Online webinar coverage will begin at 5:45 p.m..
We will begin with a pitch pit competition among four early-stage start-ups vying for a cash prize and the opportunity for a NEF Business Readiness Assessment. The panel of judges will be Melanie de Vries, TechTeam Consultant at Michigan Small Business Development Center; Debra Grega, Director of Business Development at Fast Forward Medical Innovation at the University of Michigan Medical School; and Linda Smith, co-founder of Michigan Innovation Headquarters. The competitors will be Amika Adams I from Latrenae’ Collection, Austin Pollock from Reel Free, Tyler Scott from Scott Labs and Caleb Smith from JOINLU.
That will be followed by a showcase investor presentation from Anil Menawat, CEO and CTO for Vayoom, a manufacturing SaaS software unifying operations control, analytics and decision-making to drive greater profitability and growth. It is a unique platform using proprietary AI technologies to make operationally sound and financially viable decisions.
