ITC Michigan

ITC Holdings Corp. is the nation’s largest independent electricity transmission company. Based in Novi, Michigan, ITC owns and operates two subsidiaries in the state: ITCTransmission and METC (collectively, ITC Michigan). The two systems comprise approximately 8,700 circuit miles of transmission line serving the majority of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Since our formation in 2003, ITC has invested more than $7 billion – more than half of that in Michigan – in building a reliable grid that supports new generation sources, more affordable electricity and greater economic growth.
