The Arduino microcontroller is a perfect introduction to writing software, it was designed for beginners. As open-source electronics platform, the Arduino receives inputs from the environment and then affects its surroundings with motors, lights, or other outputs.
During Part 1 of this class (March 19th), participants will learn to code with the Arduino. It was designed for beginners, so this class is open to all skill-levels. In Part 2 (March 26th), workshop participants will connect the Arduino with sensors and to use these sensors to gather data, such as temperature and color.
