What Nurses Really Want

Thursday, July 26 2018 at 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Nursing can be incredibly demanding.

It also may cause personal or professional stress and even anxiety, on or off your shift.

We really do want your opinions, which is why we are bribing you with food and wine to hear them.

We invite you to join us at this lovely venue, put your feet up for a couple hours, eat some appetizers, drink some wine and be heard – on us! You will also be able to network with some new colleagues who also “get it.”

All attendees will receive:

  • Seven Steps to Sanity – a report outlining ways to feel sane amidst the chaos, sent to you via email after the event.

  • An opportunity for a Breakthrough Stress Strategy Session (see last page of report).

  • Handout on “In-the-Moment” Stress Tips with most taking less 1-5 minutes to do for yourself.

Your sponsors for this event:

Evangelista & Associates

Haas Transformation Academy, INC.

We are interested to learn from you what types of relief, guidance or training nurses dealing with stress and anxiety really do want for themselves.*

In order to be a part of this focus group, one or more of the following statements must be true about you:

  • You are a Nurse, male or female.

  • You are personally struggling with stress and/or anxiety in your life or career.

  • You are looking for an outlet, tips or ways to reduce the stress/anxiety.

  • You know you could do better with stress reduction or self-care and maybe even know what to do, but aren’t sure when or how.

  • You are willing to invest time and/or money in yourself for further personal or professional development.

If this is you, we invite you to join a small group of other nurses dealing with similar issues to help us understand more about what nurses really want for support and problem-solving personally and professionally. The feedback from this group will be to design programs to best support nurses dealing with stress and anxiety on or off the job.

*Your participation and information will be kept confidential and not shared with outside parties.
