About Kelly Shaw
Kelly Shaw is currently a Principal at Vestigo Ventures, an early-stage Fintech and Insurtech VC firm based in Cambridge, MA. As a Harvard MBA graduate with both founder and investor experience, her financial services career has included work in entrepreneurship, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital.

Kelly gained a worldwide perspective on the financial industry after spending four years in Europe, two while working for a Madrid bank during the heart of the global financial crisis. Back in the states, her financial services career continued with a broad range of roles in finance and M&A for GE Capital. While at GE Capital, Kelly built the model behind the go/no-go decision made by the GE Board of Directors and Senior Leadership to divest $200B of GE Capital Assets.  She also was deeply involved in the $40B divestiture of Commercial Lending & Leasing Assets.  As Vice President of M&A and Ventures at Synchrony, Kelly established a passion for Fintech, and her work resulted in three acquisitions and a Series C investment in the SMB financing platform, Fundbox. Highlights of Shaw’s founder experience includes co-founding AlmaPact (now operating as Stride Funding) a provider of income share agreements (ISA), and winner of the MIT FinTech competition.
