International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world. In honor of this event, Ann Arbor SPARK is hosting a panel discussion moderated by Anne Partington, entrepreneurial services director and diversity, inclusion, and equity lead with four dynamic women leaders from SE Michigan who build leaders and organizations as a core mission of their work.

Join us March 16 as they share their own stories as well as strategies to maximize one’s best potential and elevate organizational engagement.

Meet our Panelists:

Cathy Mott
Cathy is the president and CEO of CWC Leadership Development as well as an author, executive coach, keynote speaker, facilitator and trainer. She has more than 25 years of experience in helping others discover their natural gifts and talents, which often results in authentic leadership and resilience. She has worked in various industries including automotive, education, healthcare, government, and philanthropy. Her ultimate passion is found in creating the space for her clients to come face-to-face with themselves and empowering them to create a life of authentic leadership.

Cheryl Thompson
Cheryl is the founder of the Center for Automotive Diversity, Inclusion & Advancement. CADIA supports diversity, equity, and inclusion for the automotive industry by providing professional development for individuals, along with resources, programs and tools that drive organizational evolution. A veteran of the automotive industry, Cheryl has over 30 years of experience at Ford Motor Company and American Axle & Manufacturing in positions ranging from skilled trades, operations, engineering and global leadership.

Jan Griffiths
Jan is the president and Founder of Gravitas Detroit, a leadership coaching company committed to developing the leaders of the future by providing workshops and coaching to build high performance teams. Armed with the skills she learned in the Welsh farmlands and a degree from the University of Wales, Jan moved to the United States and quickly made her mark on the automotive industry, ultimately serving as Chief Procurement Officer for a $3 billion, Tier-1 global automotive supplier. For all her success in the automotive space, Jan’s true passions have always been for driving change and inspiring professional leaders.

Anita Cabell
Anita is the founder of Leading Edge Business Coaching and has been providing business and executive coaching and leadership development in the China market for 18 years. A committed builder of healthy workplace cultures, Anita has dedicated her post-graduate education to bringing the newest research from behavioral science alive in the workplace, helping CEO’s and their leadership teams gain the edge for their businesses.
