Sonali is an entrepreneur, investor, mentor, technologist, curious traveler, and a mom. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Augment Ventures. Her company invests in early stage technology companies creating Enterprise software and smart hardware that will impact efficiency, sustainability, and health and wellness. Recent successes include AI-based supply chain software company, Llamasoft that was sold for $1.5 billion. Over the last 25 years, Sonali has worked with entrepreneurs and mentored teams to turn new ideas into reality. Prior to starting her VC career, she worked in India with PwC and Edelweiss, taking companies to NASDAQ and Bombay Stock Exchange.
Tim is the co-chair of the Business Practice Group at Bodman Law. He specializes in middle market M&A transactions ranging from $30 million to $1 billion and corporate finance. His middle market activities involve a broad range of industries including software, IoT, big data, pharma, manufacturing, publishing, automotive, aerospace, retail, healthcare and more. As chair of Bodman’s Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Practice Group, he specializes in dealing with technology companies from startup to transactions involving intellectual property, to venture capital financing, to eventual sale. He is part of a Bodman team that has represented a significant number of start-up and spin-off companies that have licensed technology from the University of Michigan.
Doug is an early stage technology and angel investor. He heads the Ann Arbor Angels and serves on advisory boards for several venture capital and angel investing organizations. Previously, he was co-owner and COO of Summit Health, Inc., a nationwide provider of employee health services to Fortune 500 companies. Doug earned BS and MS degrees in Aerospace Engineering from MIT and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
