The Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Pitch Competition is the largest and most prestigious, international, virtual pitch competition in the world specifically for high school students. Students or teams (of up to 5 students) submit a video pitch of an idea and can earn up to $1,000 in prize money. The presentations are judged by a team of seasoned entrepreneurs. Pitches must be submitted by January 17, 2020 and winners are announced in late March or early April. We currently already have hundreds of registrations from 22 different countries.
The competition is affiliated with the authors of the books Blue Ocean Strategy and Blue Ocean Shift, the best-selling business books of the century so far and often required reading in college business or entrepreneurial programs. The program is managed by Ted Dacko, a local Ann Arbor entrepreneur and University of Michigan professor.
