A3VGroup works on real-world projects. Ask questions and learn about autonomous vehicle technology, future vision, business models, AI, design, SAE standards, regulations, and law.
One current project is an autonomous wheelchair for profoundly handicapped people. We have converted R/C cars to autonomous vehicles, A-V, anticipating Hackathon events in the future.
A joint project on precision farming was Teamato, like tomato. A3VG, Detroit Autonomous Vehicle Group, and i3Detroit developed an A-V using an R/C car for distressed tomato plants in a greenhouse. Future projects will include drones teamed with A-Vs to help reduce the use of pesticides in farming.
The meetings are an open format to encourage learning and participation in different projects. We also encourage members to start their own projects. Expanded Wheelchair project work and other items determined by visitors and A3VG members.
