Building upon the success of earlier events, we continue our annual tradition of bringing the whole LNF community together to learn about each other’s work and celebrate the wide variety of research being done at the LNF. The symposium is open to all, and LNF tours can be scheduled at the end of the symposium for those interested. Food will be provided. This year, we are also celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the LNF expansion!
On Friday, December 7, come out to the Gerald Ford Presidential Library from 10am to 5pm to hear keynotespeeches, listen to users’ presentations, attend a poster session and enjoy excellent food! Our keynote speakers, Prof. Ken Wise (U-M, EECS) and Dr. Dennis Grimard (MIT.nano) will talk about the LNF evolution and growth over the years, and the larger vision for successful academic nanofabrication facilities.
LNF users are encouraged to submit a poster for the poster session and to reuse posters from another event/conference when possible! Poster submission is done on the registration page – see https://lnf.umich.edu/2018-lnf-users-symposium/ for all details. Best Poster (cash) prizes will be awarded at the end of the symposium. Poster submission deadline to be eligible for poster prizes: December 3 2018.
