Grand Innovation "powered by" Lifeline presents:

LEGAL ISSUES FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS, in association with Faculty and Staff from the U-M Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Project.

FOUR WEEKS OF INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS: Consecutive Monday evenings, beginning January 29 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Lifeline's Downtown Detroit headquarters Entrepreneurs Hub. 

Register/purchase tickets for all four or for individual classes. Each individual must fill out a separate registration.

Week One (January 29): Overview of the most common issues facing entrepreneurs: incorporation/legal organization of entity, contracts, intellectual property, employment law.

Week Two (February 5): Intellectual Property: Learn about trademark, copyright, and advertising.

Week Three (February 12): Contracts: What makes an agreement binding and enforceable?

Week Four (February 19): Dispute Resolution: How to handle conflict and misunderstandings with your vendors, staff, and customers.

Your nominal registration fee covers the cost of snacks, drinks, and supplies for each class.
