This program, presented by ACRE AgTech, gives you the option of attending a morning SBIR/STTR introduction, an afternoon workshop in proposal preparation for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture — or both.

9 AM – 12 PM – Morning attendees will learn the basics of the SBIR/STTR programs, including program goals and structure, eligibility, and sources of funding. The objective is to provide sufficient information to help you decide whether SBIR/STTR is a good fit for your company. In addition, techniques will be described for matching your project idea with potential funding opportunities at the participating federal agencies.

12:30 – 4 PM – The afternoon program will focus on the specific challenge of crafting a competitive SBIR proposal to the USDA. Topics will include: USDA’s targeted technology areas, company registration, R&D project planning, the process of proposal preparation, submission and evaluation, and tips for increasing your chance of funding success.

Lunch is included for full-day attendees.
Cost: Morning only-$25; Afternoon only-$25; Full day-$40
